We often get asked.. Can I cook on my firepit dining set?
The answer is yes, however we don't reccomend this. Very quickly the Gas firepit of your new new Firepit rattan set can become dirty with grease and debris from cooking. To clean you will need to remove all coals. The coals themselves can also become dirty. We think this is best left to the BBQ!
As stunning as a firepit table can be, customers often want to know they can have functionality from their firepit rattan set, as well as just having it as a luxury statement peice for their garden, At BW Homeware, all of our firepit rattan sets come with a cover, this means you can cover the gas firepit when it's not in sure, remove the windguard and just have it as a normal table. Safety of your Rattan dining firepit set
At BW Homeware we reccomend a 4/5 kg gas cannister for your garden set. This is so there is plenty of room under the table between your firepit system and the gas cannister. We don't provide any firepit rattan sets with rise fall tables as we personally feel that this does not leave enough room between the gas source and Gas firepit. Always opt for a rattan firepit table which is CE marked.
Heat Resistant properties
It goes without saying, this is super important when you have a naked flame. All of our Garden furniture cushions on our Firepit sets are UKFR marked to UK fire standards. The glass on the Gas firepit table is 8mm thick tempered ( toughend safety glass).
